How to take zoomy tecnique?

It is boring just to take night scene picture. Put on you camera on the tripod attaching your zoom lens. This picture taken at speed shutter of 5 seconds to have a long line of running light. The ligh compensation should be 2 stops over.

Start shooting! wait until 3 second the rest 2 second is time to zoom in to your subject.

Mr. Chalermsak Suranant, Director of TAT Chiang Mai Office at Tourism Authority of Thailand leaded judgement on IPOT photo Contest 2011. The contest judgement took place at TAT office Chiang Mai during 1.00 pm-5.00 pm.

There were 120 photographers who joined the trips and we received 433 photos submitted for the contest.

the judges were invited from different organization as follows

The temple locates on a high mountain where is a beautiful view point calls Doi Kerng that is a very photogenic place for landscape beside a very respectful for Thais, special for Doitao people and beyond. Every year will have a Buddha relic watering ceremony. There are local holy ceremonies and walking up from the Doitao lake to the temple by 4 kms. TIPS : International Photographers Society involves to help this event and organize a Photography trip on the event. During 6-7 February 2012

The program as follow :

Monday,  6 February  2012

09.00 am. Meet at the meeting point Sutprattana Studio, departure by air condition van to Doitao, arrive at Doitao at noon time. Luch at the lake.
01.00 am. Photograph and join the local holy ceremony at the lake area. Enjoy photography local life and hill tribe those join the ceremony. Evening sun set at Doitao Photography. Dinner on the raft and over night in the middle of the lake.

Tuesday,  7 February  2012

Sun rise photography, Breakfast on the raft, then join pilgrimers walking up to Wat Phrathart Doikerng 4 kms distance.
12.00 pm Arrive at the Wat and have lunch here. Enjoy photography view and landscape including the ceremony here. Late afternoon back to Doitao by a truck , from a village of Doitao we take an air condition van back to Chiang Mai.

Day 1 Pick up from hotel, driving North for 250 Km through the beautiful scenery of North Thailand until arriving at Karen hill tribe Lodge. Check in, then explore the Karen village for photography. Enjoy a delicious dinner and Karen hill tribe portrait, chat with family at the camp fire.

Day 2 Breakfast, Enjoy natural photography subjects including, elephant bathing. Lunch served in the jungle.

Day 3 Breakfast, then morning free time photo shoot landscape and life around the village, then check out, drive to Pai for lunch at a Chinese village.

After lunch begin the journey back to Chiang Mai
