“Bangkok” means “city of a wild plum”. Many years ago it was the name of a small fisherman village on a bank of Chao Phraya River later become Bangkok.

People of Bangkok call their city Krung Thep that means “city of angels”. The full name of the city registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s longest place name. The city got that name after it was established and become a capital of Siam (Kingdom of Thailand).
Bangkok – one of the most fast growing cities in Southeast Asia. At first sight Bangkok is modern, business city, where life never stops. It feels like the city is made up of a rocketing skyscrapers with unusual architecture, elegant hotels with thai colour and huge trade centers.

It is just one of many faces of Bangkok…
